The Sundowner on Lake George has 34 rooms positioned between the Canada Street (i.e. "the strip"), and the Queen of America's Lakes, Lake George itself. Our Lake George apartments, rustic cabins, suites and studios are spread out between three buildings which stretch between Canada Street and the lake, offering lake view rooms with private balconies, rustic cabins with kitchens and private decks and Adirondack suites and apartments. The Sundowner on Lake George offers a lakefront heated pool, a hot tub and a sundeck with views of Lake George plus a sandy private Lake George beach. Guests can enjoy our free kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, a canoe and a row boat for fishing on Lake George. There are barbecue grills and picnic tables and an outdoor fire pit All of our rooms feature flat screen televisions, air conditioning/heaters, hair dryers and WiFi. All of our apartments, suites and cabins include either a full kitchen or a kitchenette, with refrigerator, cooktop or range, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
Reservation Policies at the Sundowner on Lake George
Rates vary by season and are subject to change without notice. To view current rates, please enter your travel information in the spaces provided at the top of the page. Rates are subject to New York State and local village taxes and charges. A deposit of one-night stay is required to reserve an apartment, suite, cabin or lakefront hotel room for up to four nights. A deposit of 1/3 of the total stay is required for reservations of five nights and more. All cancellations require 14-days advance notification and a 20% handling fee will be discounted from all refunds. Deposits are subject to forfeiture in the event of a cancellation within the 14-day window. All sales are final. We will not issue a refund for early departures. We are unable to accept pets. Guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian to check into the Sundowner on Lake George. Rollaway beds are available for an additional $20.00 per night plus tax. Due to increased costs, we are forced to institute a 4.0% surcharge on all credit or debit card transactions. To avoid paying this surcharge, please pay your balance with cash, postal money order or bank check.
